Slurry drag pipe

Hello folks

Looking for some advice

How often should you be changing slurry drag hose pipe out 80% of the year just about
Spread alot of diegestate
Few burst put some big patches on but finding the diegestate is seeping out the patch

And advice is much appreciated

How long are your patches? Make them as long as possible to avoid seepage 6 to 8 foot, then if you need another patch in a hurry you can just cut it in half and bingo...... 2 patches . I know they’re a pig to move but big is best .

Are you using the same pipes for dragging all the time? ie using your best pipes from pump and worst in field?
Only way to keep pipes good is to have ONE person use them all the time.

Is the diegestate you are spreading warm right out of the plant ?

Aye I know slurry wouldn't be to bad as it kinda seals the patches if ya get me

Digest fresh out the plant always leeks worse than normal it seems too go like oil and squeeze through the gaps ...

Mega long patches or aluminium joiners is the only way round it
