slurry froth

10 years under the slats & the only time we have had froth on the slurry is when it is being stirred. That disapeared within an hour or so
Last few months the slurry has a permanent froth, probably 9" deep all over.
Any thoughts on the cause ?

been adding any bugs? They can cause froth or even a good natural bug count will cause froth. Does your robot chemical wash or footbath solution end up in the slats? That would kill the bugs.

Never added any bugs.
There does look less next to the robots so that would support that idea.

We used to get bad froth when filling the tanker.
Few caps of cooking oil would break it down.

Our slats froth when the slurry is about 6-9” from the top.
No idea why tbh but might be something to do with slats?

thats if you keep sucking up slurry and forget to turn off..
