Slurry Guzzler.

Is anyone still making them?
Considering a second hand one (again) but galvanised instead of previous yellow one.
Was always high maintenance with sand and wondering if parts are still obtainable although bearings etc will be fairly standard.
Chap at Latham was always extremely helpful and worried without his knowledge getting right parts might be a pain.

If you do have a look at any give the wheel bearings a good rock, maybe even jack it up. I’ve ran a couple and even with regular grease they do wear.
Apart from that and the front and back bearings there isn’t that much to go wrong

Ha yes I know the routine.
David Thomas One I bought cheap had flight rusted out. Took it out and put new flight on.
Did few seals on the back end as well as wheel bearings.
Bit like robots..... work very well if you are happy too maintain them.

What parts would you need that you couldn’t fabricate or mend with a welder? By the end ours had more welding and new second hand sheets of steel and offcuts on it than original steel!! Even when it was rotten and you could actually see right through the whole thing it was still fairly solidly built as the digger struggled to crush it and lift into the scrap skip!!
