Slurry pit fencing

I wouldn't let a child near it. A lined lagoon with fence like that is a death trap. Easy to get into, impossible to get out of. No tyres either:banghead::banghead:
I wouldn’t let a child near any lagoon no matter how well it’s fenced let’s see yours then ? The gate was meshed after the picture and as you can see it wasn’t finished you can’t do everything in one day! And as for the “two strands of electric” I’d say that’s a death trap :banghead::banghead:

Cheers yeh a close up would be great
We haven't put the barbed on yet as we need to prop the corners. We made the mistake of not doing it first and the corner posts have pulled in as the built up ground was too soft

I'm just saying that it's not worth the risk. And with a liner you have to be bloody careful as one your in it your screwed.

Cheers for that looks a tidy job, did you put that up yourself or professionally erected? How do you knock the posts in?
We did it ourselves using our post driver just had to be careful and drop the weight gently as posts will bend easily. Apart from that it was fairly simple. Took an afternoon to do a 250 meter perimeter.

Doesn’t that have to be lined? Ea would go nuts if we did that around here
We spoke to them before we dug it and they said as long as the soil test has above a certain clay content, I can't remember what off the top of my head then it's fine. Our local ea rep came and signed it off so we should be fine. Most lagoons round here are clay lined
