Slurry proofing a tractor

Has anyone painted the inner wheel arches with anything to protect from slurry? Our last spreading tractor the paint started to blister a fair bit inside the arches and I want to prevent it on the new one. Would Waxoyl/Dinitrol be a waste of time when the machine gets hot pressure washed, if so would car body underseal be better or is there anything else that we should be using?

spray on bed liner is about the toughest you'll find. Anything tough like that will cause it to rust worse once the rust gets under it, just the nature of the game. Lanolin won't stand up to hot water, manure and road spray, but once it's rusted, that's the best option you'll have.

Morris Ankor Wax or waxoyl etc will set eventually. once it’s set it takes ages to get of with pressure washer on steam setting so does a proper job. Apply it like someone else is paying for it under wings and cab etc and just try not to wash it too closely for first few months

Spray it on in warm weather, as thinning with white spirit just doesn't work as well I found.

Yes or leave the can close, but not too close to the heater! We used to do every new tractor when I did my apprenticeship. Plaster under cab, wheel rims, battery storage and few other places. They could come back in in years to come with the wax still on.

I did the repaired inner mudguard of our valmet with teresyol rubber type body paint, with the brush. Full litre for one mudguard and set it on the fire to warm so it was easy to paint. Fine layer of grey primer under it. Seems to have a good grip.
