Just wondering how much i would be looking to pay for a 250000 gallon slurry store? Thinking a round steel type with probably a reception pit. Thanks.

Asked the Storth rep the other day. Based off the price of a 960000 gallons which was 120k you'd be 30k plus base, pump, pit and stirrers

300,000 gallon was 50k last year.

Does vary on price depending on whether you go up or out for volume.

Double the diameter and triple the capacity.

Ah yeah smaller one will get more expensive. Did your price include the concrete base?

I don't know sorry but I think the limit was 20ft.

Max diameter you can go to and still have roof is 96ft. At 20ft high it's 900k gallons. I'll need two if elms etc insists on all covered towers. I'm hoping worse case senario they will allow dirty water in a clay lagoon with a floating cover. Then slurry in a tower with a roof.

Yeah but not reception pit or pump etc.
Just the store and base.

How does this compare to the cost of a poured concrete lagoon ?

Haven't priced up alternatives I only asked him for a rough idea when he was here about scapers. I'm fairly sure we'll be forced to have slurry in a tower with a roof but i'm not doing anything until 2023/24 when the scheme opens and we'll know more.

Imagine pouring this!

Do you have a concrete ring tower dug into the ground or did I make that up?

I've had a price for a 1m gall permastore tower £65k for tower non roof ready, £80k roof ready, 10k for concrete base, 10k for erection, stoned level site extra as are gantry, stirrers, jetter, draw off points. So I'm thinking circa 90k done

That's not a bad price.

Do wonder if digging a hole anytime in last 5 years has been a good idea long term?
