Just under 3 bar off the top of my head. Tried them harder, tried them softer. Always the same. That's the second set of allenince. They said the first ones that came on the tanker from new were not made for the weight so these have a higher weight rating . Not sure what to try next.
Yea mine were the highest weight rating can’t think of the model number now got 30psi in mine

You should maybe speak to someone that knows but I'm fairly confident that would be classed as under inflated. I'm sure my supplier checked and it was 40 ish for the weight involved.

Anyone have any information on newrock tankers and their dribble bars?
From looking at his site the macerator looks like a different setup to most others. Is there anyone on here that has one ?
Thx

That looks very like a joskin macerator , I had a joskin and it was a disaster, too easily blocked and no stone trap. We dumped it off the tanker.

Doesn't look like a joskin one, similar type that's about all. Never had that many problems with the macerator, no stone trap on it but that's on the tanker. Only get problems with blockages when the blades are getting worn

So we’re getting a 7.5m dribble bar for our tanker currently stuck between a mastek or a storth, I like the masteks macerator but not seen the guts of the storth to compare anybody running either? Replacement metal for the mastek is £1k and the storth is £140 apparently. Looked at the both today at Lamma but without knowing how they both hold up to sandy slurry I’m stuck on the fence.
Been using a Mastek retrofit for just under a year now, they seem to have got their macerator sorted and altogether it works well, most of the problems encountered are probably common to all dribble bars but the biggest issue is a steep rise in power requirement over the old splash plate. See my thread re high rev vacuum pumps.

this is the issue i'm experiencing, mastek have fitted me a rubber cone inside the macerator to slow the flow of slurry so im not having to travel as fast, not had chance to try it yet though with it being so wet.

This is the problem with low emission spreading to reduce the production of PM 2.5 from ammonia emissions , it vastly increases the production of PM2.5 from combustion ( the tractor ) . The latter having proven links to poor health the former non it's just presumed !

I’m working a major 2400 tanker with the slurryquip system on it , I’ve timed both ways of spreading and there was almost no difference in spreading time to empty the tanker , about 20 seconds quicker with the dribble bar which if 7.8 mt so I’m driving a bit further apart , so I see no difference in power requirement , I’m traveling at the same speed as I do with the splash plate for the same rate of spreading , the joskin with the trailing shoe I had was a disaster, if I wasn’t doing 10-12 km it was putting out far too much. It took at least 40 hp more than the outfit I’m using now.

I have had a Storth dribble bar 12 months now. And masserator has been Bob on. Not had to replace wearing parts yet. Maybe blocked it four times in that time on round bale silage. We pump sandy slurry at one big farm and it never causes any problems for masserator.

Have a look at the video on YouTube Farmer Phil done on using a Master dribble bar. He only uses the macerator in short bursts once every 15 seconds or longer.
How much power you running in front of what size tanker ?

Did you consider the 9.6m version? Has it given you any problems or blocked at all?
