Sly no till drill

I know its bit of a old thread.

Speaking to a local farmer who went to a no-till open day last year and he was very impressed by the Sly Boss drill - given the conditions that day it seemed to out perform the other drill's there being demoed. There now thinking of buying one as a local cooperative.

Does anyone know what angles the disc's actually run at? Just wonder if its similar 7 degree as the 750a, and then 20 degree's lean to one side?

Has anyone got one of these drills? I visited their stand at LAMMA. They've parted company with George Sly and jumped into bed with Agrisem (not a happy parting according to Cyrille Geneste).

I like the row cleaner assembly that you can alter down pressure from the cab with air. As far as I can see they are the only ones offering a row cleaner from the factory. I know there are lots of aftermarket options for the 750A but I haven't seen any for the Pro Series openers yet though I'm sure it's just a matter of time and something could be fabricated. I'm still searching for the not ill drill that will sown into chopped spring barley straw consistently...

I spoke to the sly rep today and he said the angle of the disc means that it pushes away the straw so they never really add the row cleaners. Sounded good
