Small Bale Trailer Size.

Used to have a summer job building small bales on 40ft trailers. 8 rows high 2 of us building and usually 2 loaders putting on 640 bales per trailer.
Learnt to drop them in the right place 1st time. Then built 50kg potato bags on pallets in winter. Was a lot fitter then.

We always start the load 1 at each side then 1 down the middle then next row 2 across 1 down the side next row the 1 at the side will be on the opposite side and so on

Most people did when trailers were only 7 foot wide with 6" of bale over each side. With an 8 foot trailer , loaded with a flat 8 , you start with your stretcher down one side.
