Small drill hopper

We have a CO 6 Horsch drill. I want to swap the hopper to a smaller unit as it’s only for OSR and we may also be able to mount a fert tank in that space as well. We will probably just fabricate a new tank but thought I would ask here in case some one has an old hopper that’s getting in the way that would save some time. The only bit I’m not sure of is the fact it’s a pressurised tank. Do I need to keep it pressured if I use the original metering unit?

Yes, you will need to keep it pressurised for it to work correctly with the Horsch metering unit, unless you want to change it to accord style with a Venturi.

Thanks for the replies. I think I will make a small hopper to bolt onto the metering of the Horsch. As it’s only Rape it can be quite small.
