I am looking at expanding my number of beehives this year and as such am looking for a small piece of land that I can use as an apiary. If anyone has any small pieces of land that is unusable for anything else near Ashford, Kent i'd be interested. Preferably out of view of main roads etc. as they can attract vandals. I can do any clearing and fencing etc. I'd consider purchasing or renting for agricultural rates. Alternatively I could just pay in lovely honey.
A small section of uneven land that is unusable for anything else would be perfect. A small corner or piece of land I could set up a base and site multiple hives for bee breeding and queen rearing etc. Preferably out of view of main roads etc. as they can attract vandals.
Does anyone know where I can find such a site? All I can find is expensive equestrian type land or expensive development land for building on.
