You could actually fit three midgets in the cab and drive? :scratchhead:
We were all 6 foot or so but you wouldn’t go far without losing all feeling in your legs. My wife had a Datsun 1200 pickup when i met her in Kenya they were called the Datsun ‘debe’ ( debe means bucket ). We swapped that for a Subaru and we thought we had really made it.

@Lowland1 My first 3 vehicles were Mini Pickup's. Rabbit shooting on stubbles after harvest used to kill them! Courting was fun! But getting about used to be great. YFC and you could get 3 in front as has been said, bung the ones you were not so keen on or smoked in the back!! Bring back the Mini Pickup!!

We had one stolen by hippies after the Bardney Pop Festival in the early seventies. My uncle luckily heard it leaving yard and gave chase in his Hillman Minx and was able to apprehend the felons or at least get the pickup back.

@Lowland1 You could get a mini pickup in our livestock box at the time I was at college at Riseholme. If it broke down at college we would push it into the trailer, take it home and sort it!!
You could also do that with a VW Golf. The lad we used to do that to is now a Vice President of CNH in the Far East.
