Like a vw caddy?
Like a vw caddy?
They aren't small utes to us. We used to have even smaller car derived pick-ups eg, the mini,Morris Minor,Morris Marina/Ital,VW Caddy(Golf based before it became a van here),Skoda Felicia,Ford P100(Cortina/ Sierra) and the odd Subaru something or other.None of that size anymore.Err, arent Hilux / Navara / Ranger etc small utes ?

Hilux, s have grown into big beasts now, with fuel consumption to match.Err, arent Hilux / Navara / Ranger etc small utes ?
Certainly compared to 70 Series Landcruisers or F - Series Fords etc
The old Subaru Brumby, while very popular here in the day, wasn’t really big enough to carry much more than your water bottle & tucker box in the back
our roads would kill something like a Caddy or little Fiat, especially with a few hundred kilos of toolboxes & other essential crap in the back
I had one 35 yr agoCan't beat the Mk 1 caddy pick up . Great things go anywhere amazingly economical .
Had a couple then had a MK2 .....wished I had never seen it !!I had one 35 yr ago
It was good till it bellied
Do they still make them ?+1 for the Doblo. Run off the smell of an oily rag, and they’re dropsides - infinitely better then ordinary pickup bodies.

I spent £90 filling mine last night, its beyond a joke.
