Got a photo from the Royal from MF stand where they use to have a then huge tractor with smaller one on then unheard of front linkages and one on the back linkages.
Then the finale was a little ground care tractor on a pallet lifted onto big middle tractors roof ?
Fab - and the little rep. On their then stand then is the BIG boss now and STILL remembers us well too ???
Kids grow up and stick to products too ?

Heard an interesting story from the gentlemen who I bought a tractor off last year! He spent his working life with the Massey brand, first as mechanic then as salesman until his retirement.
He told me while at the royal show one year a gentleman walked onto the stand and was speaking to one of his superiors, he had two little kids who were boisterous running amok, so as he was a family man he took them aside and got them up into a tractor and explained everything and even started it up and let them rev it up and generally have a good look around, and then took them over on the combine calming them down, As my friend pointed out little acorns and all that!!
Well after about 45 minutes of this the gentleman returned and thanked my friend for looking after his boys and commented that other stands he visited didn't take as much interest in showing them around as himself! And he had just placed an order for several tractors and implements ,and asked for his name to be put on the sales invoice!!
Turned out this chap also owned an Airline!! His name was Freddy Laker!! My friend continued to do business with Freddy for many years!
