Anybody got a Jack Pyke Argyle smock and how do they rate it
Yes and I rate it very highly . Pressie from Rach .

You're like me, tall and long in the body so it should just come to the bottom of yer backside when you are stood up

What are the actual benefits of a smock over a jacket tho? I can’t think of any

No full front zip, so there's less places water can get in (IF it is waterproof) and no front zip means less draughts get in. Keeps you drier and warmer.

But you're more restricted for ventilation because of no full zip. Just need to get your clothing layers right, underneath it.

You either like them, or don't... I'm converted. Love my smocks

Tempted but not sure I like the "new generation" material...

I come and go on the Ridgelines. But could maybe do with a 2nd big smock for lambing time...

Go for it and report back to us all, I am worried that material will not be as warm!

I really like ridgeline stuff, find their fleeces to be brilliant really warm.

Anyone seen one in the flesh?

I am a man who needs ventilation, I sweat a fair bit, and I like to be able to throw a jacket on and off as needed, I’d imagine it’s quite entertaining to anyone watching me try to get a smock off in a hurry ?

I fancy the evolution jacket, but I wonder if the fabric is a tough as the classic smock.

It's got armpit zipped vents, good for letting off steam! Go on we need a Guinea pig ?

Their fleeces are very good! I've one of their over the head fleece and a fleece hoodie which are toastie warm.

I might get one of their cheaper smocks - the classic can be got for around £100 I think... the sizings are mental though - I'm 38-39" chest, so normally M... Ridgeline clothing I'm XS  (they must cater for some right fat barstewards :ROFLMAO:)
