As the saying goes... Rome wasn't built in a day ;) How about patches, gum or E cigarettes? Would they help @dstudent ? They often say if you replace a bad habit with something else it often kills the addiction :)

Nah. Just putting off the inevitable. Just prolonging the bit where the see saw can still go either way. Just go for it. Kick it into touch otherwise you could still be having this conversation 2 years down the line!

you could try exercise or jogging or such to combat it. Be a bit of a fitness freak as it were :) I hear lots of people say it helps, plus you'll get a body anyone will be jealous of ;)
I detest running /jogging with a passion.
For the rest I do pilates yoga body pump, ride my bike everywhere and other stuff, I exercise a lot and still smoke:banghead:
And yes... I m sexy and I know it:joyful:

Ops did I just said that aloud:whistle::whistle:

My GP has just started me on a private course of pills costing £3000 per year. I have to take 20 per day but he tells me I will feel better each time I take a pill. I have to take one as soon as I waken up.
The downside is that it will take about 9 years off my life and if any family are near the pills there is a risk to them too.
Anyway I am going to stick with them for a few years

Until I stopped I had no idea how badly I must have reaked of smoke when coming back in after a fag outside. I actually still quite like the smell of smoke in the air, but the thought of having a fag hasn't crossed my mind since about a month after I stopped - it gets easier and easier!
