Snacker tarp covers

if you’ve some wood lying around make a simple frame on top of the snacker and bolt a plywood lid on top on hinges When you open it the wet mud and water won’t fall in it and won’t blow away and give you muddy wet hands

that’s what my grandads had and was a lot better if using every day

i aint got one but that sounds like the sort of thing i would do but mybe with stokboard for the cover bit , you can weld that plastic type as well, shouldnt be too difficult to make something up that would be stronger/longer lasting than a tarp.

Plan is to mould a plastic lid to fit the new hoppers. Hopefully by autumn theyll be fitted to new snackers as standard or an option. Depending on dealer.
