Thanks for the replyI don't know of any in the UK , but there must be some in Spain and Majorca . i've been to plenty of farmer's markets where there have been stalls , very often with a little wizened old lady in charge , with buckets of them for sale . The snails laboriously climb to the top of the bucket , presumably with the intention of escaping , only to be picked off and put down in the bottom again . I've always thought it must be pretty disheartening for the snails . Doesn't seem to discourage them, mind .!

Snails' needs are few, iirc. Oatmeal, green veg, daylight, and secure accommodation.
