Snapping Flywheel Shear Bolts on a New Holland 276 Super Baler

Manual has arrived and have checked through all the settings, which everything seems to be correct.

Will check inside of the bale chamber when we have finished the small field that we have to do.

Has anyone got any advice on how to get a part done bale out of the baler before we go over it for the end of the season?

Trevor
Slack off the chamber and trip the knotter. Turn the fly wheel by hand. Make the knot and then pull out the bale, if necessary by slipping some spare string through the two strings and out the back.

Just reading through my manual, I noticed another thing to check...

"If the pickup drive belt is adjusted too tight the pickup can force excessive material into the feeder area resulting in poor bale shape and excessive fly wheel shear bolt breakage."

Are you sure you've got the right manual, thought everything on those was chain driven. Long time since I've played with one though.
