Its not worth nowt at 5yo/5000hrs though is it Lee? So it doesn't cost anywhere near that. 150k new will be maybe 80k at 5yo/5000hrs, so it's cost £70,000/5000hrs = £14/hr + fuel driver maintenance etc.
If one was to keep it another 5yrs, til it'd done 10,000hrs, then your £150k new tractor would probably be worth about £30k? So £120k/10,000hrs = £12/hr.

You can make figures tell you what you want to see I guess.

If you read my post I said your paying £170k out irrelevant if what it’s worth used. You are still forking out £170,000 over 5 years. If your running 5 or 6 tractors changing every 6 years means in any single year you are spending £34k x 6 on finance repayments.

Don’t know your JCB dealer, but the lack of a door must be getting a bit of a pain, do you only drive it one way in driving rain? Perhaps extended warranty on JCB doors is an option?

Rarely drive anything other than the skid steer and Mrs BR up the wall. However I did get in to the 420 earlier today only to find it illuminated with an array of warning lights. No idea what they are for so turned the radio up and cracked on

looks very nice/tidy, obviously had a good home, Did you have it dyno tested?, Hope it does you well

Think it’s come from a guy who changes once the tractors reach 5000 hrs or thereabouts as routine.
Must have been an arable farm as no sign of slurry … although we sorted that within 5 minutes of the lorry leaving

No, not dyno tested but can always sprinkle some glitter on the engine if it needs it ;)
