The SNP have just walked out of The Commons, protesting at "being marginalised during the Brexit process"
Will they now try harder to derail the whole thing?

Might have something to do with Tory MP Ian Liddell-Grainger suggesting suicide to Iain Blackford.

To the best of my knowledge the Scottish people have a disproportionately high representation per capita regarding MPs in Westminster. They are thus better represented than most on national and local issues. A course in whinge control should have been advocated.Disgusting!! With all the efforts going in to combat suicide and mental health stigma. Not a matter to be made light of.
And please - those of you who are aware of my political leanings - don’t try to accuse me of bias.
By and large I steer clear of political debate in TFF these days, but this Liddel-Grainger willyhead (no appology) makes my blood boil.

Your not suggesting we move to proportional representation in the future. To the best of my knowledge the Scottish people have a disproportionately high representation per capita regarding MPs in Westminster. That is not the issue. There are more MPs per unit of population in Scotland than elsewhere in the UK irrespective of political persuasion. They also have a devolved parliament which gives them more control over local issues. Thus they have better representation in Westminster than most. Unfortunately they also have a massive inferiority complex.Your not suggesting we move to proportional representation in the future.

Sorry. I do not wish to pass comment on MPs and their stupid off the cuff remarks. Bercow dealt with it in an appropriate manner as the event appears to have assumed ridiculous proportions. MPs should grow some backbone and stop behaving like temperamental kids. Please read my post again - and don’t try to draw me in to the politics of the debate.

I was talking about Scottish representation in Westminster .Are you talking about snp MPs or Scots in general?
Nicola painted herself into a corner having promised a 2nd independence referendum immediately after the Brexit vote, something she hoped had been forgotten, but wasn't forgotten and the troops are getting restless. So the more trouble and resentment they can stir up (on both sides) the better for the cause.
Not everyone north of the border votes snp.
