We were clear until these last IR's,right in the centre of the cull zone for Dorset and since it ended pretty much every dairy farm in a 4 mile radius has gone down,2 more neighbours yesterday...
Be interesting to see how the cull effects it over the next few years

that is the perfect situation though
get rid of the infected cows , and the infected wildlife at the same time
nothing left to infect the cows now so hopefully a rosy picture come summer for you

I know of a dairy farm with just under 2000 cattle, had been down 5 years, testing every 60 days, previous test was clear, this test was clear until the very last animal and it was a reactor!!

Know the feeling all to well, what's the process in England? One clear test or two, we had our clearing test reading on standard to severe yesterday(y)
I've got to have two clear tests now, although it's a pain it's not the end of the world at the moment as we had a good clear out of Hereford stores just before the annual test ( first time dads ever took my advice) so we're not pushed for space currently

One clear test when you have reactors in the previous test but they didnt have any lesions on kill..

I think they are changing this thou and it will be two clear tests ( which is what imo it should be )
