Recycling by flattening dog food tins in the vice with the lids inside them can be painful. Get the angle wrong and the lid will fly out and catch you right under the nose.

Veal is DEVINE. Especially in breaded escalope form, next to a pile of spaghetti bologneseHow nice and tasty veal can be, I was put off some 50 years ago by a dry tasteless piece of meat, and thought 'if that's veal you can keep it', fast forward to today, daughters birthday, so went out to a place of her choosing.Daughter,Mrs N and son in law all had fish, as in Sea Bass, Halibut and Hake, none to my liking, so I thought I'd try Veal again, WOW, cooked medium it was out of this world and definitely something to have again.
And aniline is an organic compound that smells of rotten fish. Don't fancy the lemonade much now.Learnt this little gem today which surprised me.....and remembered this thread existed so thought I'd drag it back up again.
The full name of chemical company BASF is Badische Anilin- & Sodafabrik which means “Baden Aniline and Soda Factory”.
If only they made lemonade.....
Just one , you got a lot to learn ,I learnt certain forum members are easily wound up, even if he checks his "nuts" every day.
Just a follow up from the above Red Fred post . I found out that dried yeast stored in a cool dry place isn't necessarily active within the "use - by " date . I made a loaf using Allinson's bread flour , sticking carefully to the recipe . Came out lovely , hollow to the knock , crispy golden crust . Cut it ,wow-w- If I'd had enough of them baked , I could have built the walls of Jericho , that even Joshua , his Ark , priests and ram's horn trumpets couldn't have breached . I chucked it all out , yeast an' all , and got a new packet of yeast . I'll store that in the freezer .
I'm in good company then . I suppose sealed one- shot sachets will be OK frozen , but liquid nitrogen ---?Gregg Wallace was recently on touring the Carling factory - they stated they kept their yeast in liquid nitrogen so you're in good company!
Many people suggest keeping it (well sealed!) in the fridge.
Got to be stored with your semen supplies then !!!!I'm in good company then . I suppose sealed one- shot sachets will be OK frozen , but liquid nitrogen ---?
