I’m basically looking for prospective people who would be interested in grazing for sheep on Solar farms through out the south and southwest. We cut loads of sites every year, Having sheep myself I feel this is a massive waste and the sites would look better grazed
The grazing would be free or very cheap. If interested Pm me and very rough location.
many thanks

we graze ours under the solar. I do agree on many commercial sites the grass is cut. Ours are only in 5 x 5 acres for a couple of days so there is a lot of movement. Not easy moving lambs and sheep Ive just come back now. I assume there is water available to each field? Sheep do like the shading.

I have a neighbour with a solar farm and they were initially keen for me to graze it. However since then the company seems to have been bought & sold a number of times. When I have spoken to the solar company they were very concerned about sheep damaging the panels. I didn’t think it was worth the risk in the end.
