Have seen a few of these popping up lately. Has anyone got some/experience of them? Ones to avoid, etc.

Have seen some very impressive looking ones online at what seems not bad money but from places I've not really heard of before. Tempted to just try one that Screwfix have for now....

And before anyone asks, no I can't just get power to where I want. Not expecting Blackpool illuminations but anything ought to be better than nothing.

Ta!

I have got three sets of B and Q ones. They are the double spot light and work well, think they were about £30 each. Tried the first one by a back door and it worked well so installed a couple more. Only installation was drilling two holes for the bracket. and they have been in three years now.

We bought 6 from MoleValley, they were expensive at around 1000 for the lot but are very good! We have them down the tracks for our horse paddocks and they have different setting etc and a motion sensor on.

I've just bought a Handybrite solar LED with a PIR from JML.

Hopefully it will be useful for around the house/drive/garden. If it works well I will ask for 3 or 4 more for Christmas.
