30 kw been going 2 years here. Prediction was 27000 kw / year. Doing a touch better than that.
Total benefit circa £6000 / year. That is FIT + export + saving of about £2000 on leccy bill
That was with FIT of 12p. It`s a fraction of that now

They make electricity, how you use it is up to you.
Remember the most production comes on a summers day at midday.
Can you use this .
The least production is in winter, when you msy need it most.

I have a couple of 4 kw pv stations. One on a farm connection and one domestic.
Agree with Exfarmer - if you use the half of what you generate then its a winner simply because you are not buying it off the grid.
If you are exporting the vast majority back to the grid then a 5-8 year payback, possibly longer depending on FIT or ROC with us in NI.
Its probably better than money in the bank but unless your a high user at peak production I wouldn't bother and I wouldn't borrow to cover install costs.

If you need to cool products in the summer its probably a no brainer.

What size of station are you thinking off?

96 kw here on a grain store. I wouldnt bother again. The predicted figures are nowhere near the output.
Very surprised to hear that, as the predictions were based on standard figures supplied by DECC. They were very conservative. All my panels are working approximately 10-15% over target. We have had no years when they have not beaten the figures in up to 5 years running.
Have you got unusual amounts of dust on them?
