Solid AN for Protein on Milling Wheat

Assuming it gets washed straight in what’s the latest timing for applying solid AN to have a chance of lifting protein levels in milling wheat?

solid going on booting spring wheat here today. have done acres of winter milling in the past when in ear. far better than any ear foliar spray if soil is moist.

once past GS39 then results are quite variable with solid N

A lot of fert still not fully washed in here on milling wheats, both Spring and Winter, had 1mm since application weeks ago, guess we'll be finding out shortly if/when we get this forecast rain today and the weekend. It's got two chances.

Rightly or wrongly put the last ns30 liquid fert on mulika hoping that now its raining it will help with boosting the protein if not and it comes dry again it will still be in the ground for stubble turnips later on .
