Solis compact tractor - thoughts

I have a work colleague thinking of buying a Solis compact tractor - 36HP?
Does anyone have a Solis tractor or have any experience of them. The tractor will be used to maintain 5-10 acres. Topping etc.
Any thoughts, views good or bad appreciated.
If not a Solis then any other reviews or recommendations would be much appreciated.

Probably better buying a used Kubota or a New Holland, John Deere compact at least you will have good parts and service backup if you need it.

Maybe - i think the dealer is on his doorstep - hence his interest. Keen on price too even compared to a big branded second hand tractor.

Just don't!
If you buy a 10 yr old Kubota at same money as a solis, then in 5 years the Kubota will be worth similar. Solis will be worth what it weighs.
