We charge £80 per half, £150 whole, all ready jointed and vac packed. We only sold about a dozen in our first year, last year, but we've never had someone ask and not place an order. We assume from that folks are happy with the price.

what you paying to get that done Pete and where do you get it done ?

I don't think price matters (to a point) potential customers are not buying for value, they buy because they like the idea

Yeah that's standard butchering. It cost £25 at our local Slaughtethouse for killing and butchering
That's what I cost it at as well or there about and charge about the same as this guy. It's about £17 kill etc. I butcher and pack in house add in all the other associate costs about £25-£30. Would be charging similar price to others said also but charge by the kg instead. Cheaper for whole than half but I'm only just starting up the last few years so only doing a few.
