Some worming advise Please

Ok just back from the vet FECS showing tiny traces of cocci, worm count under 350
She has sent samples away for fluke, as I said we are on really well-drained chalk here not sure anyone thinks of fluke
but can't be ruled out, then probably bloods see if they're low in anything.
so hopefully lands not too infested, yes maybe get some calves out there in the spring,then cut some for hay

See if it's worms before you get too carried away.

Iodine deficiency here shows as if they are full of worms, with profuse dark scours, failure to thrive and hard coats. It would be worth investigating that too, or even giving a TE drench that contains Iodine and see if that dries them up.

Yes need to get the bloods done when we get results,if it's not fluke
350 in lambs as said isn't that high and doesn't explain the scours and hard coat and lack of thriftiness

Look for lack of cobalt too. Everything here gets a bolus including cobalt.

Ewes twice a year. Lambs once.

No. I do base line bloods every other year. Cobalt is always an issue here.
