Don’t allow a bridle way.bloody horses make so much mess and one horse will soon turn into half a dozen and we all know what will happen when it’s wet.we have several footpaths here that I cut regularly in the summer.got a gate and kissing gate at one end to keep dobbins out which has worked well.unfortuantly this year with all the rain the foot path is walkable with care and mud from one end to other.mountain bikes make it far worse and when challenged I just get a lot of verbal.they have no right to use the foot path either but take liberties.we occasionally get council letters after people complain about various things but I invite counci officers out to look and they are allways very good.had a call last year just as leaves started to appear and they weighed a small branch down.it was only finger thick.so had to go cut that back even though there was a good 3m clear to walk.sure some people got nothing better to do
