my name is Stewart, and for the past 24 years I have worked in the corporate world and have finally had enough.
Every weekend I have been volunteering on a rare breeds farm taking on maintenance, livestock feeding, paddock clearing ( poo picking ), helping with herding, deep cleaning of internal paddocks, building platforms/arks refurbishing or replacing fencing etc and I absolutely love it and it's all I want to do.
I have a venture in mind but am looking for some feedback direct from the farming community. My plan is to provide my time/services to farms all over Suffolk and Norfolk as a kind of Pay As You Go service. Would this be something that would interest anyone? Is there a need to have someone turn up at the farm for 3-4 hours at a time?
