Motocross riders get similar if they don't wear a kidney belt, stops.them bouncing round on rough tracks. If you feel like throwing up and nothing eases the pain, like changing position, sitting, lying etc, sounds like kidney stones ☹️. Been there done that

pain goes away a bit just more sore when bouncing around but thats to be expected given how rough the paddocks are

It could be just a lack of support, as Pistonbroke said.
If we are a tad dehydrated then it actually increases the friction as everything shakes about and rubs against the other furniture in there

Obviously on a MX bike you get biffed around but you're mostly on your feet and in a 'power' or 'attack' kinda position for strength, but you don't (and can't) do that for 8 hours in a seat

I found it was much worse on hare&hounds and endurance events when you try to stay loose and go with the bike (less energy spent)

cheers for that

Hopefully a couple of quiet days will calm it down. If it turns into a more severe, sharp pain where you can hear someone screaming " Jesus f#####g Christ!!!" and realize it's you...... it's stones.

Had this on off for few years know, various scans etc (found out I only have 1kidney)
Doc said just wear and tear, physio wanted more scans as could be cancer!!?(that concentrates the mind) cue camera up n down!
Another doc said sounds like irritable bowel syndrome take a pill when it flares up, and that seems to sort out the pain!
I suppose ya guts take a bit of stick when bouncing around in seat all day!

Suffered with various back pain for years, got to the point wg]here I was ready to quit the tractor driving part of farming. After even a short day I was walking like a cripple. Turned out to be the tractor. It was a artic versatile on 800 metric duals. Bought it thinking it would be a smooth ride and was extra power at 360hp. had A demo of a challenger and after a long day I could barely tell I’d been driving. Now have two and back problems are few and far Between. Put it down to be the tractor was bouncing and shaking me so my body tensed up and muscles were cramping.
