rather unsurprisingly 3 out of 4 groups with rams have developed sore feet, would it cause any harm if I bring each group in quietly and footbath and treat? rams out around a week

Best to put them through footbath with lincosin powder They are only going to get worse one walk through normally does. Had great results with it this year on scalds in lambs

I brought mine in today, changed the crayons on the rams (and gave a prayer of thanks to whoever invented the mating mark ram harnesses - makes changing the crayons by myself easy peasy) and put them through the footbath while they were in. Just made sure it was all down quietly and steadily (i.e the huntaway was made to keep quiet and stay on the bike... Which meant I wasn't quite so quiet..... !). I think as long as they aren't stressed, it won't cause any harm, especially if they are used to being handled.

thanks, one group would need moved by trailer so don't think il touch them till marker due to change as moving on trailer mighnt be helpful to them, could build pen in field tho if needed
