There is a grass seed setting in the Amazone book if I remember
No, just on its own, 12 feet wide is enough with my ancient Kuhn twin disc spreader, I do it twice ideally, once towing the chain harrow upside down and the second time towing 12 feet of Cambridge rolls.Do you mix it in with a little fert to broadcast ?
I get a contractor at the moment with amazon combo but I’m looking for something real cheap cheerful I can do it myself either with my multi Harrow or without .
They are not cheap - a mate sold a 25 year old one (barn stored) to a dealer this Spring for £1000, unless of course OP has one.....Have you constantly old 12m pneumatic fert spreader?
I had missed that thread .. I'm just about to do the same with an old polymat.Project Grass Seeder
Going to make a front mounted spreader bar on this old fert hopper that I have. Spread grass seed 6m and tow rollers behind. Been using contractor with seeder on rollers for a few years now for undersowing - works well when we get timing right so hope fully having own kit will ensure correct...thefarmingforum.co.uk
Got the same done a lot of acres over the years not high tech but works a treatI use an old 3mtr. fiona drill with the coulters and tubes all removed. works a treat windy or not.

Ploughed cultivated seedbed.
What do you have on the einbock that sows the grass ? I could put that on my multi Harrow .We use a einbock grass harrow. Works well. I'd roll cultivated ground first.
