Does anyone know of a spearhead excel hedge cutter being broken for parts or just sat somewhere knackered. Just started pulling mine apart and it's been welded up but the last owner and has been welded badly and put of line.

The welding it self isn't that bad. It's the fact that they didn't weld the box section back square. It has a twist in it and if I put new pins and bushes in it won't fit back together.

Not the easiest to show but the top clevis is twisted about 7mm to the left out of line with the bottom clevis. It mounts the way it sits on to two vertical sets of bushes which won't happen with that twist in it. Two side plates that have been welded on won't be to bad to remove but the one on the back has been welded in side of where the lift ram sits and will take a lot of cutting out to be able to twist it back. Top pin hole and slew pin holes are also worn hence looking for another.
I know it's a long time ago but did you get xl550 as I need a part for head

No I didn't. I ended up cutting and re welding this part back together. I had quite a few bits from attlefield farm machinery and there very helpful and carry a lot of parts.
