Does that cover the difference? The £ to $ was 2:1 then,
It’s about $1:30 at the moment,
Building up a war chest? And, I would suggest tax, don’t forget that they have been ramping that up over the years and being a percentage, the more the base price rises the more you pay the tax man. They must be loaded at the moment.
Aye…..the Devil! You wonder if someone was prodding Putin into a war. Constantly whispering into his ear ‘look at the Ukraine they’ve got lots of weapons from the West now they’re going to join NATO and the EU if you don’t do something now it’ll be too late’ and on the other side someone telling Zhelensky ‘Go on Putin will never do anything keep pounding those rebels and talking about looking west’.
Encouraging a fight between a big energy producer and a big food producer what a good idea if you can gain on the markets.
No sorry that’s mental who’d do something like that?

Honestly I don't think so. China has got rich trading with the west a recession reduces trade so less money heads their way. For sure China getting energy from Russia makes sense but if they're manufacturing less they don't need as much. I favour America giving them a shove for a short-term tax gain over energy prices and other commodities followed by a longer term big spend on the military. If you'd said that to me two weeks ago I'd have said that's ridiculous but now I'm wondering.china.
