speed camera detector

I have a Cheetah (pun intended) that has mobile sites on it. No detector - they are useless these days as by the time you realise they have layered you, your ticket is being printed. I had Road Angels for years before that but their service went to hell when they were taken over.

The only downside of every registered mobile site on the database is that you are going to get 10-30 false alarms for every instance of when you actually see a van there & you become numb to the alerts.

It's for sale as I never use it anymore. I have the Waze app now, not that it has mobile sites on. PM me if you are interested.

I had a Road Angel with the very expensive radar deceteor sensor I fitted near front number plate. ( drunk night on eBay) . However for it to work and detect said radar. Your plate is already detected! It did used to beep at every automatic farm gate though! You can get jammers but I wouldn’t want to try to defend that in court. Best just to buy a car like your wife’s ex husband and clone his plates

That's where those of us with the old tatty Defenders score over you with your posh new double cab luxury pickups as we're lucky to be moving let alone getting anywhere near a speed limit ;)
very rarely am i speeding out on the open road , its getting caught out coming into built up areas , like i posted above hiding a van so close to the start of the 30 limit is where i may be caught out , i was over 30 but less then 40 so will have to wait and see , if i still had the old defender i might have just ploughed into him . more thinking if i get a new truck that i will be restricted to 50 mph on most of these roads around here. I find the traffic signals which show the speed of your car to be a lot more affective slowing the traffic down to the correct speed , the speed van is there just to collect money.
