Speed sensor socket for new Holland

I have a new Holland 6080 with radar but it does not have this socket with speed output which I need for a fertiliser spreader. Is there a plug on the loom I can connect with. I know I can buy a kit that attaches to axle but would prefer not to.

On some makes the socket is hidden behind the dash for some strange reason. It is on some MF and Deere tractors. Id speak to your dealer. They will know for sure

No idea, but it happens on MF and JD. Guess its like cars they build them all with the same main wiring harness then add or fit stuff depending on spec.

Sorry to jump in but what all does this socket do? Our T7’s have them and I never looked to see what it was for till I saw this thread. If it outputs the Speed like Kildare mentioned in his first post, then this is what I need for our APV seeder exactly the same reason Kildare wants to use this socket for on his sower.

Pin 1- Radar/true ground speed.
Pin 2- Wheel sensor/theoretical ground speed.
Pin 3-PTO signal/rear pto speed.
Pin 4- Linkage up/down signal.
Pin 5-Linkage position signal.
Pin 6-12v.
Pin 7- ground.

Hi, You buy the complete socket and harness assembly from New Holland. This includes the socket shown in the picture, short length of harness and connector that plugs into a connector on the harness under the trim panel. We did this on our 6090.

Think part numbers are

87345189 Socket/Harness Assy.
83912337 Screws

There is also a kit 718967370. Not sure what is in it. Maybe socket plus the screws.

There is also part number 87304492 that I think is the plug to go in to the socket.

Suggest you get dealer to check the numbers again as this is what we did a while back. It took some time to find..... It was in the cab section but on the same page as the instrument cluster, not the right hand panel.........

I have a basic new holland. The cheapest option was to put a sensor on the rear wheel reading off the studs. 110 euro. Works well with the bogballe spreader.
