Could you get an auger on the tail door of one of your trailers to use as a chaser??

Re wet kit, try local lorry dealers see if they’ve took any off second hand??

Nice cart for someone

I the problem I'm having with this very idea though is the 6weekly mot, operators licence, tacho etc... there is a lot of ball ache running a truck atm. If they could simplify things it would certainly make it more appealing to more people
This is the reason that there is alot of paperwork, qualifications and service inspections involved in road haulage.
It is to keep things safe.
In my experience agriculture needs to help itself before rules are forced upon us.
The agricultural road transport I think will soon have similar boxes to tick due to the amount of road accidents involving agricultural vehicles.
Caused by untrained drivers and tractors that are designed for field work not running around at hgv weights on very squishy tyres.
Also have any of you looked at the maximum permissible weight of your PUH?
It scared me when I did.
MOTs for tractors and trailer testing will shortly follow.
I still don't understand how a lad with no formal training can drive a tractor and trailer with the ability to do over 40mph at over 30 tons when these days you need another test to drive a 4 ton transit van.

….or until recently a >750kg trailer on a car!

That said, since they have dropped the above due to training issues……it could be suggested it is unlikely licences/testing will come in for tractor operators.
