How does this 130% super deduction work?If you are ltd I would think 1, 4 and 5 best brought new and make use of 130% super deduction, they are items which you will probably keep a long time, by worth what you paid for them in 10 years time and hard to find at a decent saving second hand.
He who hesitates is lostfarm is a partnership so super deduction no use to us sadly
had a quote on a new Stewart same spec as existing trailers - up from 21k a few yrs ago to 36k for same spec today !!!
And then expect a dealer to do warranty work and keep spares on the shelf for them?Is @Clive or anyone else able to buy trailer direct from manufacturer at a saving ??
beast. bailey trailers always larger capacity than competitors too
For Ltd Co's onlyHow does this 130% super deduction work?
Saving a few quid has priority for meAnd then expect a dealer to do warranty work and keep spares on the shelf for them?
Maximum gross weight for an agricultural trailer is 18.29tonnes. Total gross weight with tractor is 31 tonnes. Maximum speed for a tractor is 25mph.20t trailer empty must be 6.5t ,fill it with
wheat 26.5 t plus tractor capable of holding
it back another 10t .Knocking on the door of 36t plus.
Would it not be better buying a lorry and parking it on the headlands?

Farm trailer weights do get checked occasionally.Maximum gross weight for an agricultural trailer is 18.29tonnes. Total gross weight with tractor is 31 tonnes. Maximum speed for a tractor is 25mph.
I only know this because I did a speed awareness course last year.
No farm trailer weights are ever checked.
Until you have an accident.
If someone gets hurt go straight to jail.
A big risk these days. Just saying.
Agricultural tractor and trailer weight and speed limit regulations
Announces new regulations to increase the weight and speed limits of tractors and trailers.www.gov.uk
We use lorries here because of the distances to haul back to the farm and also to deliver in winter to buyers. In a dry year the lorry makes sense but once the field gets soft or entrance get rutted you’ll find them a poor alternative to a tractor and trailer. Then add in the safety inspections and crap resale value and the trailer get cheap real quick.20t trailer empty must be 6.5t ,fill it with

we move a lot of compost so not always very heavy, sometimes carting without going on the road - need cubic capacity more than the weight
Surely that one's ideal then? About 27m3 iirc
