we do use trucks on longer hauls and farms that can accommodate them - they don’t work in every situation however
based on quotes i’ve seen and used market prices there is not massive difference between trailer brands if you are comparing similar specs
cost of steel etc has made a big difference- anyone who hasn’t had a recent quote maybe shocked if they do !

I think trailers are very subjective and a lot of people have strong opinions, but the westerns are certainly a good trailer

Been very impressed with our new NC trailer. It holds 16t of wheat and came as high speed,
560x60x22.5
Commercial axles with 420x180 brakes.
Air/hyd brakes,load sensing on air.
Hyd Rear door with seal and grain shoot.
Sprung draw bar.
Roll over sheet.
Dual led lights on rear high and low.
Rear led flasher
Full front window Perspex.
Galvanised side access ladder.
Bolt on mud guards and mud flaps.
Hardox body so it doubles up as a dump trailer as well if used sensibly.
£18,500 + vat.
The rollover sheet needs better fixings as it can wobble loose when unrolled on rough ground but other than that it’s a very well made trailer.

when was that priced Lee ? seems exceptional value vs any brand I have had a quote for recently, who is the dealer for them or do they sell direct ?
think steel and component price rises are filtering through fast and prices are rising very quickly

NC have probably been inundated with calls by now .
We paid nearly as much for a 16t Aw ultima full spec (non hardox) back in 2012.

I've weighed 17.5t of wheat on the Aw in the past so2011.
could be a size up from that trailer.

22 tonnes, 30.5 rim size tyres with forced steerinh, central tyre inflation with aircompressor.
and a head for heights when you’re at the top
Marshall more expensive than my Stewart quote (and not quite as well spec'ed (not on Michelins which adds quite a lot) ! I think a lot of framers are in for a shock next time they get a quote for anything new

That configurator is pre discount .
Just ran my flatbed 33ft and it was coming out at near £20k .
Second hand better value!!!!!

About £36k too expensive but if you wanted to take a chance on one there would be discount off the website price.
