Sprayer on a budget

I'm relatively new to the sprayer world and would be grateful of some advice. We previously used a mix of infrequent contractors and our old Allman sprayer. My old man did all the spraying but he's not around any more. Now I have a fairly large amount of grassland to clean up for preparation for SAM3 and I want to invest in something that I don't have to hide from the Red Tractor inspector.
It looks like i need to spend around £3k to get something reasonably tidy that either has or can easily achieve an mot. I'm thinking 600ltr, 10 -12m, tractor mounted. I'm happy with 2nd hand and don't really want off brand. I just want it to work.
The work intended us approximately 60ha grassland (one off job) plus a regular workload of 10ha of arable rotation. 90hp tractor.
I guess I'm looking in the region of £1000 - £3000.
What brands offer good build quality at that price? What features should I be prioritising? Should cost of parts be a consideration?
Thanks

I think I would be looking for an original Gem/ Case branded latterly or a Knight.

Gem booms have a lot of metal in. 12/24 means it can be half unfolded.

You don’t need to spend a fortune for a perfectly useable sprayer. Condition is the most importantly thing over make and year.
I would probably avoid Hardi as the components are unique to themselves. Most other makes use off the shelf parts and you’ve always a chance of cobbling something up to get you out of trouble. Can’t do that with Hardi.

600l tank @200l/ha is 4 fills to do your 10ha of cereals go for a 800 or even 1000l if your tractor would be ok with it.
We used to use a 1000litre 12m Hardi behind a 2wd 70hp Ford 5600 and it was fine with some weights on the front. I agree with the above though, Hardi a bit unique re parts, and the booms are weak compared to Gem

I started the same way, 800l Allman then 1000l the 800l was on a 2wd MF590. I used to get excited doing 100ac in a day. Now it’s that in a load!

The 1000lt Hardi replaced a 600litre version on the 4600 - which wouldn't lift the 1000litre. The 600 Hardi replaced a 200gallon Ransomes on a 135 as was common back then.
The 12m/1000 Hardi stayed on beet only for a good few years after it's 1986 24m/2000litre Chafer T2000 replacement arrived in 1994, which was a game changer in terms or reliability and output

I think you'd be foolish but to consider a Amazone sprayer should be able to get a decent ones for 4k it would certainly be worth the slightly higher price.
And hydraulic folding booms is a must as well.

Speak to your chemical supplier they may have a sprayer they would hire out for the first year to let you see if sprayer tank size is a good match for your tractor and field size.
We hired a team sprayer for a year or two. As basic as you can get only electrics were the on/off switch but it did the job and a mf 575 was fit for it. They maintained it only cost was spray nozzles.

The only ones in my area at my budget are Hardi. Evrything else is too far up country.
How does Jarmet compare with Biard/Tolmet? I understand that they are both Polish budget machines. Is the saving on features or build quality? Jarmet appear to be nearly 1/2 the price of Tolmet.

Got a Tecnoma for sale. 12m hydraulic fold booms. Quad nozzles. Electric controls. Induction hopper. Rinse/flush tank
Peeling paint on booms but no rust or welding.
the pre putting it on a tractor but visuals all looks ok price £600
Thanks but Chesterfield is a bit of a drive from Cornwall.
