Sprayer pump oil leak

Had milky oil in my bertolini 6 cylinder diaphragm pump so I stripped it down and cleaned out pump and replaced all the diaphrams and o rings and put back together and topped back up with new oil . All working fine now but I seem to have a slight oil leak around pto shaft end of pump . Would I need to re strip pump fully or can seals / bearings be done without a complete strip down ?

Hows your pump mounted to sprayer?

On my landquip there are bolts through sprayer chassis into pump. With constant vibrations threads get damaged. When mine was done it was difficult to get properly tight again without damaging threads .

I think it will depend on which side of the pump it is, one side just has the bolted cover Which can easily be removed to access the seal. If I remember right though to do the other side you have to pull the crank out to access the seal.

Mines just bolted to a plate on the bottom of the frame .

It’s not to bad a leak just now . May order the seals and chance it till the winter for a full strip down again

As long as there’s always oil in the reservoir it will be fine, they don’t like been run low and doesn’t take long to bugger up the bearings.
