[QUOTE="Lowland1, post: 7609930, member: 66524"] I spray veg on a daily basis not only that but the type of cropping we have means we have lots of different crops at different stages of growth next to each other so we cannot afford to get any spray on anything other than the target crop. I am using air induction nozzles and higher water rates at slower speeds and as such haven’t seen any chemical getting where it shouldn’t. I always plant a headland around the fields so i am turning within the field. Drift is easily controlled by not spraying in poor conditions and adjusting pressures and boom heights etc. One thing that is difficult to control is the vapours especially with chemicals with a fumigant affect. However even with all this my wife tells me i got some herbicide on my beans when spraying maize the other day however i think it was more not turning the sprayer off whilst negotiating the centre pivot so much for being smug.
