Got some fungicide, growth reg and manganese to go on wheat and barley but keep getting -1 for a few hours early morning. I’m holding off at the moment, are people still spraying and do they have any bad scorching

Likewise. Looks like less cold nights end of next week though. Crops are going to jump once they get going again.

Can’t see the CCC will do much good with temps like this either.

Going shortly when frost lifted here -2.5 last but that’s for pre. Emirgance as risk of frost is reduced tonight but hanging off all other sprays and worried if I don’t do the pre em now I will miss the window for pre em and far rather go now than post em on sb

Yes Wednesday seems to be an improving forecast, will have a serious go then i think.
mind you the dry and wind is also stressing things as much as anything.

If it looks stressed from lack of manganese I’m giving it some but making sure it’s well dried on before the dew and frost comes in. My worry is if I don’t get the Mn on the frost will Knacker it mire than ever. I could be wrong of course.

I'm of the same view as you, I'll be spraying tomorrow regardless MN is showing up and that'll do more harm than frost. This is with nutrients I wouldn't be putting pgr or herbs in with frosty weather, also I'm more cautious with powder MN than liquid.
