Spraying with a frost at night.

Got some fungicide, growth reg and manganese to go on wheat and barley but keep getting -1 for a few hours early morning. I’m holding off at the moment, are people still spraying and do they have any bad scorching

Why would you be worried about a pre em?

It's good weather atm. Cold is holding crops clean. Wb is spotless land. Here in Ireland land is drying nicely. Usually we suffer from excess rain. no ccc out yet.

I would put pre-em on now and wouldn't bother me a jot if I could travel sensible.

Fungicide, manganese and a bit of PGR won't hurt a crop.

mind you the dry and wind is also stressing things as much as anything.

With ccc it’s more it won’t work than anything else isn’t it?

I'm of the same view as you, I'll be spraying tomorrow regardless MN is showing up and that'll do more harm than frost. This is with nutrients I wouldn't be putting pgr or herbs in with frosty weather, also I'm more cautious with powder MN than liquid.
