Because there is no spreader built that is suitable for COP. I only know this because there's a 20 page thread on here about them all! I am not in anyway denigrating the product for sale and I'm sorry if it came across like this, just having a gentle dig at Pete who seems a good enough sport to take it.

To be fair, I never asked for any advice on which spreader, I just asked how to get a spreader from the USA!!

I’ve found several units to do my job, but nobody seems to want to sell one into the UK.

The OnTop looks a nice machine. What are you replacing it with?

These 2 spreaders are our spares, I am replacing my 2008 Ontop with a JCB fast trac 8330 and a Bredal K105 XE, hoping to get a bit of diversity from a trailed unit, the fast trac can always help haul lime to the 2 other self propelled spreaders when we don’t need the extra spreader. That and I am not quite sure what I will replace the other ontop with yet must be self propelled to haul our dump boxes

Yeh got to find a way for paying for it first! Need more output our customers are spoilt up here they want lime tipped in conveyor dump boxes at the time of spreading means we can’t tip large piles in advance and work at an output you guys can
