Spreading urea whilst grazing

Done quite a lot of testing all around over the last three years - it's always short on p here.
Must admit, back in uk I would have generally agreed but my brother had 1, 8 ha field that we could never get the p up on though

Hi. Sorry to butt in!
I've been asked last few years to chuck some fert on local deer park & horse paddocks. They can keep horses off for a day or so but deer have the run of it all. Always use urea and have done so for many years on own sheep whilst grazing.
Last year was confronted by chap that looks at deer about 6 weeks after saying urea had killed some deer!
Is this possible?
It didn't rain for 5 or 6 days after application.
Any thoughts?

I'm not sure it is? I was under the impression they are very similar.

If they ingest too much in either scenario they can die very quickly - imagine that's what happened with the sheep above - reckon they ate some of the pile.
