I have CTL to go on with Terpal fairly soon. T1 was last week but a few sheltered spots in Planet sown in mid March has boots swelling already. How late can I put half a litre of Terpal + wetter + 0.75 CTL on? First awns is the official cut off. T2 will be Adexar.

Siltra or Fandango seem to be standard products of choice round here.
Unless of course you are an Agrii serviced customer and the standard issue is Helix.
All those 9 for mildew resistance rated varieties that predominate these days need a good dose of Spiroxamine apparently:rolleyes:

That's forward. Ours only really started to move after rain last week. I'm only doing T1 plus Moddus today.

I'm fairly sure from what I remember the Terpal won't hurt if it's a little late but it just won't really do any good after awns show.

I haven't had swift, helix, boogie mentioned to me for a few years now since I started sending them back and changing them. I'm still guilty of kestrel, mobius, zulu, inka, pheonix but the man's got to make a living! Lol [emoji2]

Barley doubles in height after flag leaf - the issue with Terpal is damage to the ear if it hits it directly. The emerging awns will be quite vulnerable too, but it grows so quickly a this time of year.

Cut off for terpal for me is just after early awn emergence. No pgr on spring barley here yet, will decide at T2, probably .5 terpal before awn emergence. Difficult to time as it grows so quickly and often same timing as t3 on ww for us. Only needs a day or two with no spraying and you've missed it!
